AS A PERSON 

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I have always had a sense of adventure and trying new things. I spend my "free time" doing what I call Peace Projects, which are basically different formats to keep the creative juices flowing. I love to travel and see the world with new eyes.   

 

WHAT I DO 

I once read a quote by a photographer I admire, Annie Leibovitz, she said, "It doesn't turn off and on...it's on all the time". That is how I see the world. When I see the sunshine reveal itself around a building or a group of friends laughing together, my mind frames the picture. There's more to it than just point and shoot. Photography to me is seeing things in a different light or seeing the final image long before you take the picture. 

 

I find that I am pulled towards people. Taking someone's photograph essentially captures a piece of their soul; if only for a moment you may see who they really are. That's what photography is to me; a chance to share a piece of my soul. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts from Robert Morris University.

 

I have also always had an ear for music, I started off trying to play musical instruments (the piano, the guitar, and the violin) at a young age. My interests in creating, editing, composing, and simply listening to music has grown enormously from there. I received my Associate's in Music Production from Full Sail University.

 

Like photography and music, I have always created from my environment and the things around me. I received my Master's Degree from Full Sail University in Creative Writing. Being able to bring these elements together and to use the knowledge learned from my educational background, I create new worlds and ideas.
