Ohhh, This is Why They’re Called “Fly Over States”

Illinois is wider than it looks.

I‘m still sitting comfortably in “Year 25”, so my traveling days are no where near done.

So, what do you do I do with chunks of time while not applying, interviewing, or struggling for a job?

Travel!

Now, don’t worry because I will post a longer in-depth look at how I’m traveling from Pennsylvania to California/Nevada. I’ll share the costs, adventures, and thoughts of the whole journey. But for now, I’m just taking the time to update you all.

At this moment, I’m on a 24 hour train ride from Illinois. My phones charging, I’m prepping to get some music going, and ready to edit some videos during this long ride.

My first train brought me from Pittsburgh to Chicago, which was overnight, so now here I am after having walked a few streets in Chi-town, back on the train again.

I’ve flown, driven, and bused it up to 15 hours but this one takes the cake. I used to think road tripping across the country while driving sounded so fun, but now I‘m so glad I took the train, and even more thrilled that I decided to fly back.

Aside from my new realizations, it’s been an interesting trip so far.

Be sure to check back in when the journeys complete (video & blog).
