This post is brought to you 'From My Bedroom Floor'.

I have been on this journey for just over a year now. Unfortunately, it has been more lows than highs due to my mental state and life choices. I have moved "homes" about three or four times in that time period. Now that I am in my new "Home" space I have found it the perfect time to set roots.

Or in this case, hang up a few decorations.

I share a somewhat great apartment with my cousin (more on that later). If I started to chalk up all the places I've lived and compared them, I'd have to say this one is most perfect to the person I aspire to be. Which is very important for my personal growth.

It's the little things that make a house feel like home. Plus, since where I am kind of forces my personal brand (since it's 'From My Bedroom Floor' after all), the things I produce, write and post all come from my well-being.

I found myself standing in my room last night and I just felt in a state of relief. Very much pieced together some goodies on Amazon, Big Lots, and Five Below, I turned an empty space into something straight out of a magazine. (That's an exaggeration.)

But it's all mine and makes me feel safe. With that going on my head it's so amazing to have my surroundings feel like one of my ideas finally brought to life.

I've already begun to edit, and write more which means more content coming soon!

As always, thanks for tuning into this journey.
